The primary focus of this routine is the relationship between Music and Movement and the expression of this relationship. Be seduced by the music and remain connected to the music to make your relationship grow. Listen closely to not just the music but the sounds that make the song. Do not trip out and get so involved with your emotions or your movement that you stop listening to the music. Give life to the music through your movement and let the music enliven your movement. Moving with the music will make your relationship grow. This is the place where you will receive the gifts of being in relationship with the music. Give to the relationship by bringing honest, joyful movement in your classes.

From a body point of view, you'll work instrinsic and extrinsic muscles continuously. One-leg positions work balance and strengthen the hip stabilisers. Sudden stop motions help you to develop precision and grounding. Leg strengthening is developed through lowering motions as well as faster, rhythmic, loose leg moves.

The routine also emphasises the use of the shoulder blades to move the upper body. Use the core to support pushing and pulling arm moves. Get an easy workout by dancing the moves, or work into levels and planes to add intensity and give it an athletic feeling. Combinations of steps and FreeDance makes this routine unique. You'll note the soft, across the body moves work the waist and abdominal muscles.

You'll have the opportunity to develop your own style by tapping into the segments of movement improvisation. There are many places in this routine for you to add your own hand and arm motions.

This is a mindful workout as well as a physical workout. Use the music to stimulate passion and drive. There is lots of room for fun and vocal energy. Use sounds and allow your spirit to dance and play with these great tunes!
