19/11/07 - 10 Week Courses at Palmerston
January see's the start of THREE new 10 week courses run by Sam Hyde at Palmerston Adult Education Centre, Barry. Term Starts Week Commencing 7th January and all courses will break for 1 week over Half Term around 8th Feb.
Tuesdays 9am - 11am - Chakra Balancing Course
Thursdays 1pm - 3pm - Introduction to Nia Course
Fridays 1pm - 3pm - Introduction to Tai Chi
14/11/07 - Nia Workshop Day planned for Shrewsbury

25/9/07 - Nia Weekend Retreat in March
Sam has found a beautiful venue of Over the Rainbow to set the stage for the first ever Nia retreat weekend. It's set to be a great weekend for relaxation and inspiration. Book now as it is intimately limited to just 12 people.
14/8/07 - Change of date to 9th September

11/5/07 - Launch of NiaBristol, NiaGlastonbury, NiaSwansea and NiaNewport
Today see's the launch of four new websites designed to help build the Nia communities in Bristol, Glastonbury, Swansea and Newport.

10/5/07 - Date for Nia White Belt in Cardiff 13th-19th January 2008
We have now confirmed the date for the first ever Nia White Belt Training in Cardiff will be Sunday 13th January till Saturday 19th January

19/4/07 - Plans are underway for White Belt in Cardiff
If you are interested in the Nia White Belt intensive training for personal growth or to become a Nia Teacher, the next one is planned for Cardiff in Jan next year. We are currently confirming the date and venue.
The training costs $1500, approx £800 and we are setting up a payment plan for those of who you want to make monthly payments. £100 a month, starting in May, every month, and final payment and rest of balance due in January.
We are also here to help you with your pre-training and will provide you with a study group network and pre-training events.
This is going to be the first White Belt in Cardiff and it is a very exciting time to join the Nia Community - 2008 see's Nia's 25th Birthday.

2/4/07 - Nia Classes Back On
Sam has returned safe and sound from Nia HQ and is fully inspired and invigorated, she can't wait to share her new knowledge and skills with you all. Check out the class listings for new classes starting soon too - now there is even more choice, you have no excuses to be at least 2 classes a week.

9/3/07 - New Early Bird and Lunch Time Classes at Vitality
Do you ever feel like you need extra physical energy and could do with a more positive attitude to make it through the day at work? Well, these Nia classes right in the city centre with Sam will get you feeling great, enabling you to stay motivated all day long in work and avoid the afternoon downer.
Tuesdays 1.10pm - 1.50pm (40 minute Nia Blast)
Thursdays 7.00am - 8.00am
5/3/07 - New Nia Class at David Lloyd
As from Tuesday 3rd April there will be a new regular Nia Class at David LLoyd Leisure and Raquet Club, Cardiff - Every Tuesday 6pm - 7.15pm. This will be open to members of David Lloyd only.
26/2/07 - Thursdays at Vitality
The Thursday night class at Vitality health club has been temporarily stopped - it will resume after easter.

1/2/07 - More Glastonbury dates added
Following the recent overwhelming success of the 'Discover and Celebrate Nia - Part One' workshop day in Glastonbury, we have now booked the next two dates. Sunday 27th May and Sunday 16th September will see us visiting the St Mary's Church Hall for Part Two and Part Three respectively. As always, places are limited, so book now! 15/12/06 - New Nia Classes added
We are pleased to announce there are 2 new Nia classes added to the timetable for the new year. Sam will now teach at The Village Hotel Leisure Club on Mondays at 5.30pm and an extra class is added at Vitality Health Club on Thursdays at 8.15pm. Hope to see you there!
13/12/06 - A Nia Workshop Day in Glastonbury

6/12/06 - New Wednesday night class at Bannatyne's
We are pleased to announce a second class has now been added to the schedule. It will be on Wednesdays 7.45pm-9.00pm at Bannatyne's in Llanishen, starts 10th January. This class will be free to members. We are also pleased to welcome non-members for £3 drop-in fee. See you there!
24/11/06 - 10 Week Course - NOW BOOKING
Following the recent new nia course at Highlights Community Centre, near Tesco, Barry, we are now booking for 2007. A new 10 week course will start on 11th January and will run every Thursday 1pm-3pm.
Every week Nia Cardiff Founder Sam will take you on a new journey exploring different principles including the 52 moves, steps and stances, 9 movement forms, joy of movement, self-healing, chakra balancing, personal development, and more. Each weeks session will end with you experiencing the energy of a full Nia Class. Places are limited. Prices start at just £45 for the full 10 weeks. Many concessions available. 24/10/06 - Nia Workshop in Bristol 2nd December
Nia Cardiff Founder Sam Hyde will be holding a Nia Workshop at St Paul's Community Sport Academy, Bristol. It will be from 1.30pm-2.30pm and will cost £10 per person or £8 for Nia Cardiff Members. Please spread the word, we hope to see you there! Book now as places are limited.

24/10/06 - New 5 Week Nia Course in Barry
Nia Cardiff Founder Sam Hyde has today been asked to teach a 5 week Nia Course in Barry in conjunction with Vale of Glamorgan Council. To be held at Highlight Park Community Centre, just next to Tesco, it will start on 9th November and will run for 5 weeks, on thursdays 1pm-3pm. We need 8 people signed up for the course to go ahead, so please tell your friends about this exciting opportunity to try Nia. It will cost £22.50 for the 5 weeks, or as little as £7.50 if you are currently on low income or benefits. 23/10/06 - Fitness First Class Cancelled
We are sorry to tell you that the new class started at Fitness First Cardiff East on Wednesday nights has been cancelled. Unfortunately Nia has been taken off the timetable to make way for a Yoga class instead. Thanks to those who did attend, your support is always appreciated. Watch this space for news on any new classes to take it's place.

Don't forget that we are away from 26th October until the 8th November. There will be no classes and contact at all during this time. If you have any questions in the meantime, you can use our free forum to get in touch with Nia Cardiff Members and students.
